Bags and Gloves Co., Ltd. proudly joins as a model enterprise driving business transformation under the Bio–Circular–Green Economy (BCG) concept through the SMEs BCG by DIPROM initiative — a one-day seminar and exhibition that gathers knowledge, networks, and inspiration from across the Thai business landscape.
On September 2, 2025, Ms. Jitanun Sithiamphai (Woonsen), Managing Director and company representative, participated in the SMEs BCG by DIPROM event — a platform showcasing the potential and sustainability of Thai industries through BCG-driven practices. The event featured a variety of sessions, including:
- Keynote speeches
- A special discussion forum on “How Thai SMEs (Brands) Can Achieve Sustainability”
- Inspiring talks and case sharing
- Exhibitions by SMEs applying the BCG model in real business operations
During the discussion forum, Ms. Jitanun shared her first-hand experience and practical approach to implementing sustainable practices in the manufacturing sector. She also presented Circular Design Products developed in collaboration with DIPROM (Department of Industrial Promotion) — particularly the Upcycled “Leatherback Turtle” Plastic Chair, made from recycled plastic waste generated from the production of disposable gloves, aprons, arm sleeves, and other protective items. These items, primarily used in the food and medical industries, were reimagined into Modular Flat-Pack chairs, reducing plastic waste and maximizing material reuse.
In addition, Ms. Jitanun shared valuable insights from her sustainability journey, encouraging other entrepreneurs to integrate sustainable principles into their business development for long-term growth.

The Importance of the BCG Model
The Bio–Circular–Green Economy (BCG) model serves as a key mechanism in transforming Thai SMEs to meet global challenges — emphasizing sustainable resource use, value creation from waste materials, and reducing carbon emissions.
Since its launch in 2021, the DIPROM BCG initiative has empowered over 1,800 Thai SMEs to adopt sustainable production practices and achieve measurable outcomes.
Bags and Gloves Co., Ltd. stands as a clear example of how the BCG model can be successfully applied throughout the production process — from design and recycling to value creation from plastic waste — delivering positive impacts across business, society, and the environment.
