Inspired by the Leatherback Turtle
The Turtle Chair is crafted from upcycled PE (Polyethylene) plastic film waste, repurposed from the company’s production of disposable gloves and other plastic protective items. Through innovative upcycling processes, these leftover materials are transformed into unique, design-forward furniture pieces.
The chair draws inspiration from the leatherback turtle, a rare marine species and a symbol of the fragility of marine ecosystems affected by ocean plastic waste. The design of the Turtle Chair goes beyond functionality — it serves as a statement piece that raises awareness of plastic waste reduction and marine conservation.

The Turtle Chair was featured at the SMEs BCG by DIPROM exhibition and seminar — a platform promoting the Bio–Circular–Green Economy (BCG) concept for sustainable business development among Thai entrepreneurs.
At the event, Ms. Jitanun Sithiamphai (Woonsen), Managing Director of Bags and Gloves Co., Ltd., joined the discussion session “How Thai SMEs (Brands) Can Achieve Sustainability” to share the company’s journey in developing upcycled furniture and transforming factory waste into valuable, eco-friendly lifestyle products.
