Bags and Gloves at TRAFS 2026: Turning Product Conversations into Process-Fit Solutions

Industry Events

July 16, 2026

From 9–12 July 2026, Bags and Gloves participated in TRAFS 2026—Thailand Retail, Food & Hospitality Services, a major B2B trade exhibition connecting businesses across the food-service, hospitality, catering and related industries. The 20th edition of the exhibition was held at BITEC Exhibition Hall 100 in Bangkok.

At Booth J9, Bags and Gloves connected with restaurant operators, bakery businesses, food manufacturers, traders and other industry professionals to understand how hygiene equipment and protective products are used in real working environments.

Our objective was not only to present our product range, but also to help visitors explore which products may be suitable for their actual processes—from food preparation and bakery work to packing, production and cleaning.

What Bags and Gloves brought to TRAFS 2026

At the booth, visitors were able to explore and compare a range of products, including plastic gloves, aprons, protective wear and plastic bags for different business applications.

Rather than presenting products only by material or specification, our team spoke directly with visitors about their actual processes, such as food preparation, bakery production, packing, serving, cleaning and production-line operations.

We also introduced an exclusive 7-Day Hybrid Gloves Trial, allowing eligible businesses to register and test Hybrid Gloves in their own production environment before making a longer-term purchasing decision.

The trial programme reflected an important principle behind the way Bags and Gloves works: product suitability should be evaluated through real use—not determined by price or technical specifications alone.

Conversations that created practical insights

TRAFS 2026 gave our team the opportunity to hear directly from business owners, production teams, traders and operators.

One of the clearest findings was that customers do not simply want to know what a product is. They want to understand:

  • Which process the product is suitable for
  • How it will perform during daily operations
  • Whether it will support staff comfort and working efficiency
  • What quantity and specification are appropriate for their usage
  • Whether they can test or purchase the product before placing a larger order

These conversations confirmed that selecting protective products is not a one-size-fits-all decision. The correct choice depends on the type of business, working conditions, usage frequency, task requirements and operational standards.

Key takeaways from TRAFS 2026

1. Customers want solutions connected to real processes

Food factories frequently asked which types of gloves could be used at different stages of production.

This showed that product communication should begin with the customer’s process—not only with material names, thickness or product categories.

Future product communication should therefore make it easier for customers to select products based on tasks such as preparation, processing, packing, cleaning and handling.

2. Product experience supports faster understanding

Visitors showed greater interest when products were removed from their packaging and displayed in a way that allowed them to see, touch and compare the materials.

Open product samples, complete packaging and clear labels helped customers understand the difference between products more quickly than packaging alone.

A complete display should include:

Packaging + Product Sample + Product Name + Suggested Use Case

3. Bakery businesses have specific functional needs

Bakery operators expressed interest in plastic gloves that provide better grip while handling and working with dough.

This insight creates an opportunity to further study bakery applications and develop communication or product trials designed specifically for dough preparation, ingredient handling and other bakery processes.

Any product recommendation will continue to be based on the actual task and verified product performance.

4. Traders are interested in house-brand products

Several traders and distributors showed interest in house-brand gloves that could be sold through their existing channels.

Their questions focused on wholesale prices, packaging quantities, product availability, minimum order quantities and sales support.

This reinforces the need for Bags and Gloves to prepare a clearer distributor programme, supported by product comparison tools, wholesale information and ready-to-use sales materials.

5. Product colour attracts attention for operational reasons

Coloured products received strong interest because they are easier to notice within the working environment.

Customers also recognised the potential to use colour for process separation, work-area identification or internal product management.

This suggests that colour should be communicated not only as a visual feature, but also as part of a more organised working system—where appropriate for the customer’s process.

6. Visitors want the option to purchase and test immediately

A number of visitors asked whether products were available for purchase directly at the booth.

This indicates that some customers are interested but may not yet be ready to make a large business order. They prefer to begin with a smaller quantity, test the product and then decide whether to continue.

For future exhibitions, Bags and Gloves will consider creating a dedicated trial and retail area with selected products, event pricing and convenient payment options.

7. Clear branding creates differentiation in a commodity-driven market

Many products presented at the exhibition were functional commodity goods, making it difficult for visitors to immediately recognise meaningful differences between suppliers.

However, visitors were more likely to stop at booths that clearly communicated what the company offered, who the products were designed for and how the business could support customers.

This reinforces the importance of building Bags and Gloves as more than a product supplier. Our role is to help customers connect product selection with hygiene, operational efficiency and process requirements.

Moving forward as a process-focused partner

TRAFS 2026 confirmed that customers are not only looking for products. They are looking for greater confidence in their decisions.

They want to know that the product they choose is suitable for their people, their working environment and their daily operations.

Bags and Gloves will continue using these conversations to improve how we develop, present and recommend our products. By combining manufacturing knowledge, practical product experience and customer insight, we aim to support businesses in selecting protective products that fit their actual processes—not simply the most familiar or lowest-cost option.

We would like to thank everyone who visited Booth J9, shared their operational challenges and explored new possibilities with our team.

Every conversation helps us build better solutions for the businesses we serve.
