November 4, 2025

At Bags and Gloves Co., Ltd., our commitment to sustainability goes beyond words—it’s a mission we actively pursue every day.
In an era when the world is facing severe environmental challenges, reducing greenhouse gas emissions is no longer an option but an urgent responsibility. As a Thai manufacturer of plastic gloves, bags, and film-based packaging, we recognize the crucial role our industry plays in driving positive change.

That’s why we have set a clear and measurable goal: to achieve Net Zero emissions and contribute to a truly sustainable future.

Clear and Measurable Net Zero Targets

We are not only setting goals—we are holding ourselves accountable with measurable outcomes:

  • 50% greenhouse gas emission reduction by 2030
  • Net Zero by 2050

These targets are aligned with Thailand’s national strategy under the Paris Agreement, focusing on minimizing the carbon footprint across all operations through:

  • Sustainable raw material sourcing
  • Efficient energy management
  • Continuous process improvement
  • Low-carbon logistics and distribution

Measuring Progress with CFO

We believe that “what gets measured, gets improved.”
Since 2022, we have implemented the Carbon Footprint of Organization (CFO) assessment to monitor emissions from all our operational activities. Our annual CFO report helps us:

  • Track real performance results
  • Identify areas for future reduction
  • Quantify carbon reduction from each improvement initiative

This systematic measurement forms the backbone of our journey toward Net Zero.

Investing in Clean Energy and Smart Operations

Our commitment is backed by tangible investments that deliver measurable results.

Solar Power System – We began installing solar panels on our factory rooftops in 2022, expanded capacity in 2023, and plan further expansion through 2025.

  • Over 25 million THB invested in clean energy systems
  • Additional 10 million THB planned for 2025 to maximize solar coverage across all facilities

Smart Factory with IoT – To optimize efficiency, we have implemented IoT technology that monitors electricity consumption across all machinery. This enables us to:

  • Analyze energy usage patterns in real time
  • Identify energy-saving opportunities
  • Maximize overall power efficiency

Together, these efforts mark a significant step toward becoming a smart, environmentally conscious factory.

Responsible Waste Management

Sustainability starts with awareness. We have implemented comprehensive waste management programs beginning with:

  • Employee training on proper waste segregation
  • Designated recycling zones within the factory
  • Reuse and recycling initiatives for recoverable materials

Beyond waste sorting, we also focus on reducing waste at the source through:

  • Regular machinery maintenance to prevent production defects
  • High-quality raw materials to minimize scrap
  • Production process optimization
  • Adoption of high-efficiency machinery

These measures not only reduce waste but also directly cut CO₂ emissions during production.

Innovating with Eco-Friendly Materials

Innovation is key to long-term sustainability. Our R&D team continuously explores materials that are better for the planet, including:

  • Low-carbon materials with reduced emissions during production
  • Renewable-based resins derived from plants
  • Recycled plastics (PCR, PIR) to promote circular resource use
  • Compostable materials that naturally decompose without harmful residues

This strategy not only meets the growing demand for sustainable products but also reduces carbon emissions throughout our supply chain.

Our Commitment to the Planet

Through comprehensive actions—covering energy, resource management, material innovation, and production efficiency—we are determined to become one of Thailand’s leading Net Zero industrial manufacturers.

We will continue advancing toward a balance between product quality and environmental responsibility, because we believe true business growth must be sustainable growth—in harmony with the planet we all share.

This is not just a statement; it is a mission we invest in, measure, and live by—every single day.
