Sustainability: More Than a Goal, It’s Our Way of Doing Business

At Bags and Gloves Co., Ltd., sustainability isn’t just a corporate objective — it’s the foundation of who we are.
We place great importance on sustainable development, especially when it comes to environmental responsibility. We recognize that global warming and climate change have serious impacts on ecosystems, natural resources, and the planet we all depend on.

As a small but committed part of the global community, our company is determined to reduce the environmental impact of our operations — particularly our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To achieve this, we have implemented the Carbon Footprint of Organization (CFO) assessment across both of our production facilities.

This assessment follows all three scopes of emission measurement (Scope 1, 2, and 3) and has been registered and verified by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) — known as TGO. This ensures that all reported data are accurate, transparent, and officially certified.

Our Journey Toward Sustainability

We first conducted our CFO assessment in 2022, continuing for a second consecutive year in 2023, and plan to maintain this as an annual commitment going forward.

Based on these findings, we have established a clear environmental policy with a measurable long-term target:

Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030
(compared to the 2022 baseline year).

Our Key Actions to Achieve This Goal

To move toward our 2030 target, Bags and Gloves Co., Ltd. has launched several initiatives to improve efficiency, minimize waste, and enhance sustainability throughout the organization:

  1. Promoting Clean Energy
    • Installed solar rooftop systems at our factories and are planning further expansion in upcoming years.
  2. Enhancing Production Efficiency
    • Conducting regular machine maintenance to minimize waste, reduce energy use, and improve productivity.
  3. Implementing Smart Energy Management
    • Using IoT technology to monitor and manage energy consumption more precisely.
  4. Digital Transformation for Resource Optimization
    • Streamlining operations through software integration to reduce paperwork, minimize unnecessary steps, and increase operational agility.
  5. Improving Waste Management
    • Developing a systematic waste segregation program to separate recyclable waste from general waste and ensure proper disposal methods.
  6. Green Supplier Policy
    • Prioritizing partnerships with suppliers who share our environmental values — such as those with their own CFO programs, sustainable transport systems, or clear sustainability commitments.
  7. Circular Packaging Solutions
    • Reusing and rotating packaging materials within our factories to reduce waste and resource consumption.
  8. Expanding Green Spaces
    • Planting trees around factory premises to absorb CO₂, improve air quality, and lower surrounding temperatures.

More Than Numbers — It’s Shared Responsibility

Our commitment to CFO is not only about meeting environmental standards; it reflects our philosophy of being a socially responsible organization.
We believe that every small change can lead to significant impact over time.

For us, sustainability is not a campaign or a short-term initiative — it’s a continuous journey that requires collaboration, innovation, and shared accountability across every level of our organization.

At Bags and Gloves Co., Ltd., sustainability is woven into everything we do — from our products and processes to the people we work with. Together, we’re taking meaningful steps to create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.
